Berkeley Heights is a township in Union County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 13,183.
In its 2010 rankings of the "Best Places to Live", New Jersey Monthly magazine ranked Berkeley Heights as the 19th best place to live in New Jersey. In its 2008 rankings of the "Best Places To Live" New Jersey Monthly magazine ranked Berkeley Heights as the 59th best place to live in New Jersey.
A brick walk with personalized bricks engraved with the names of many long-time Berkeley Heights residents runs from near the railroad station towards Kings grocery store. A memorial to the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks adjoins a wooded area alongside Park Avenue, just southwest of downtown.

- Diversity Experts Reveal Best Practices
L’Oréal USA and The American Conference on Diversity co-host a forum for diversity and inclusion professionals, “Reflections on Diversity: Defining Moments,” on Thursday, June 6, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at L’Oréal USA New Jersey headquarters, 200 Connell Drive, Connell Corporate Park, Berkeley Heights, New Jersey.
The invitation-only event is part of the American Conference on Diversity’s 65th anniversary celebration. Attendees will include chief diversity officers, EEO and affirmative-action officers, diversity recruiters and human resource professionals from throughout New Jersey. Participants will have the opportunity to network and learn best practices in workplace diversity issues from leaders in the profession.
Presenters will include:
· Award-winning researcher Dr. Patrick F. McKay, Professor of Human Resource Management and Chair of the Human Resource Management department in the school of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Dr. McKay will share data that reveals the value of diversity in bottom-line performance.
· Honorable Rochelle Hendricks, New Jersey’s first Secretary of Higher Education, will discuss the intersection of diversity, higher education, and pipeline leadership.
· Angela Guy, Senior Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion at L’Oréal USA, and Elizabeth Williams-Riley, President and CEO at American Conference on Diversity, will address defining moments in diversity management.
