Searcy is the largest city and county seat of White County, Arkansas, United States. According to 2010 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 22,858.
Despite having lost many factory jobs in the late 20th century, Searcy has recently experienced an economic revitalization. It is deriving revenue from the leasing of the area's mineral rights to natural gas companies. Some residents are concerned about the environmental impact of the extensive drilling projects that have taken place.
